Robert Dawson

Robert Dawson is an incumbent Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, currently serving District 65. He assumed office in January 2025 and is seeking re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary. Representing areas including Atlanta, South Fulton, and East Point, Dawson is actively involved in legislative work. He serves on standing committees for Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, Intragovernmental Coordination, and Information and Audits. Additionally, he was appointed to the 2025 House Study Committee on Reducing and Prioritizing Mandates for Public School Administration. He notably supported legislation to expand conditions for medical cannabis cards.
