Robert F. Matzie is the incumbent Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 16th District, a position he has held since 2008. A lifelong resident of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, he earned an associate degree from the Community College of Beaver County and a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from Point Park University. Before his election to the General Assembly, he worked as a state Senate staff member for 14 years and served as Mayor of Ambridge.
