Robert L. Freeman is the incumbent Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for District 136. He first served in the House from 1983 to 1994 and assumed his current term in 1998. Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, Freeman earned a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Moravian College and a master's degree in history from Lehigh University. In the state legislature, he serves as chair of the Local Government Committee and advocates for community revitalization.
