Galibois supports diversion programs for minor, non-violent offenders; opposes cash bail that discriminates against the financially disadvantaged while still pursuing pretrial detention for violent offenders; and favors individualized sentencing recommendations over one-size-fits-all approaches.

Galibois has created a specialized Vulnerable Populations and Human Rights unit in the DA's office tasked with safeguarding elders and individuals with disabilities from abuse and predatory behavior, supporting victims and prosecuting offenders.

Galibois states that human trafficking and elder fraud 'have been and will continue to be a high priority' in his office. During his first term he secured approximately $250,000 in grant funding for anti-trafficking trainings across the district (including Martha's Vineyard), convened the office's first statewide human trafficking conference, and established a 1-800 tip line distributed district-wide via QR-coded magnets.

Galibois says that in a second term he wants to focus on protecting immigrants who are victims of crimes and who may be hesitant to seek help, alongside other priorities like elder fraud and a veterans court.
