Robert Scott 'Bob' McConnell is a Republican candidate for Massachusetts State Senate in the 2nd Bristol and Plymouth District. A Fairhaven homeowner since 1997, he has served as a part-time deputy sheriff and P.O.S.T.-certified peace officer with the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office since 1987 and has held a Massachusetts nursing license since 1982. He is an elected Fairhaven Town Meeting member, chairs the Fairhaven Republican Town Committee, and was elected Republican State Committeeman for the district in March 2024. He previously ran for State Representative in 2022 and 2024.
