Robert Wanlass, known as Denny, is a Republican candidate for Utah State Senate District 6. Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley and residing in Layton since 1998, he is a married father of four, including two children on the autism spectrum, giving him firsthand experience with special needs families. Wanlass holds a bachelor's in accounting from the University of Utah and an MBA from Weber State. His professional background includes corporate work, founding and selling Red Dot Firearms, and currently working as a Realtor. As a political outsider, he champions parental rights, educational freedom, school choice, and core academic foundations, advocating for a stronger, more responsive state government.
