Robin Ficker is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 6th Congressional District. A veteran of the United States Army, he holds a bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University and a law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Ficker's political career includes one term in the Maryland House of Delegates, serving from 1979 to 1983, and he has run for various state and local offices since the 1970s. In addition to his political endeavors, he has worked as a real estate broker. A former member of the Maryland Bar, he was later disbarred. Ficker is also a political activist known for spearheading successful ballot initiatives to limit property taxes and impose term limits on county officials.
