Rod Pogachar is an incumbent member of the Hamilton City Council, representing Ward 2 since 2014. He is a retired librarian from the Hamilton School District and a veteran of the Army, National Guard, and Army Reserve. Pogachar graduated from Hamilton High School in 1981 and earned dual degrees in Political Science and Secondary Education from the University of Montana. He has also served on the board of the Bitterroot Aquatic Center and works as a substitute teacher. He and his wife have lived in Hamilton for over 29 years.
