Rodney Pol Jr. is the incumbent Indiana State Senator for District 4, assuming office in November 2021. A lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, he previously served as the city attorney for Gary, Indiana, and worked as a public defender. Pol earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington and a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is the first Latino elected to the Indiana State Senate.
