Roger J. Lane

Roger J. Lane is an experienced public servant currently serving as the 2026 Chairman and Mayor of the Wyckoff Township Committee in Bergen County, New Jersey. Appointed to fill a vacancy in February 2024, Lane quickly assumed a leadership role within the five-member, part-time legislative body. His extensive background includes previous service as a councilman and mayor in the neighboring municipality of New Milford. As Mayor of Wyckoff, he presides over Township Committee meetings and performs ceremonial duties for the residential community of approximately 16,000 residents. The Committee as a whole is responsible for exercising both legislative and executive powers, addressing local ordinances and resolutions to manage the township.
