Roger Niello is the incumbent California State Senator representing District 6, having assumed office in December 2022. He previously served in the California State Assembly from 2004 to 2010 and on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. Outside of politics, Niello worked as a certified public accountant and spent 25 years helping run his family's business, the Niello Auto Group. He holds a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a master's degree from UCLA.
