Ron Stewart

Ron Stewart is an incumbent Oklahoma State Representative for the 73rd District, assuming office in November 2024. A Tulsa native, he holds degrees from Langston University and previously worked as a fire lieutenant and paramedic. Stewart also serves as Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party. He is seeking re-election, focusing on criminal justice reform, supporting local businesses, expanding voter access, ensuring affordable healthcare, and adequately funding public education. As a Choctaw citizen, Stewart introduced Bill 1118 to foster dialogue on tribal freedmen citizens' rights and sponsored HB3052 for child protection, particularly against fentanyl exposure. He is committed to improving safety and ensuring his constituents' voices are represented at the Capitol.
