Ronald J. Bergstrom is the incumbent Barnstable County Commissioner, serving since 2019 after his 2018 election. He previously served as Chatham's representative on the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates (2007–2019), including as speaker, and as a Chatham Selectman (1998–2010). He has also served on the Cape Cod Commission (2001–2002 and 2020–present) and as past chairman of the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority.
