Ronald Sorvaag is an incumbent Republican member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 45. He first assumed office in 2010 and is currently seeking re-election in the Republican primary on June 9, 2026. Sorvaag earned a B.A. in Sociology from Concordia College. He is married to Carla and they have two children. He has also served as Interim President Pro Tempore from 2023-2024.
