She earned a degree from Wayne County Community College District. Ogburn is the co-founder of NexusDetroit, an organization focused on food sustainability and youth programming. She has worked as a housing organizer with Detroit Action and currently serves as a Partnerships Coordinator for the Michigan League of Conservation Voters.
