Roxane Prettyman is a dedicated public servant and a lifelong resident of Baltimore. She currently serves the Democratic Party as a member of the Democratic Central Committee for Legislative District 40. Previously, Prettyman was appointed to the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 44A from August 2021 to January 2023. Before her time in the legislature, she worked for 39 years as a paralegal specialist for the Social Security Administration, retiring in 2018. Her commitment to her community is demonstrated through her role as the community outreach and engagement director at her church and her involvement with various community boards.
