Russ Spencer

Russ Spencer is a Republican attorney, Idaho Army National Guard Captain, and a first-time legislative candidate running for Idaho State Senate District 20. A seventh-generation Idahoan, Spencer lives in Meridian with his wife and five children. He earned his law degree from Antonin Scalia Law School and has extensive legal experience, including eight years as Idaho Deputy Attorney General, three years as a Bonneville County prosecutor, and most recently as General Counsel for the Idaho Board of Medicine. Spencer is a proven conservative leader who advocates for religious liberty, Second Amendment rights, parental control in education, the sanctity of life, and fiscal responsibility. He aims to protect Idaho's values, taxpayers, and freedoms from federal overreach.
