Previously, Fry served seven years in the South Carolina General Assembly, advocating for lower taxes, less government, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-life legislation. In Congress, he chairs the House Opioid Abuse Prevention Study Committee, serves on the Energy and Commerce and Judiciary Committees, and has sponsored enacted bills like the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act. He actively secures federal funding for public safety and infrastructure in his district.
