Russell J Black

Russell J. Black is a Republican politician from Wilton, Maine, a farmer and logger who owns Black Acres Farm. An alumnus of Mt. Blue High School, Central Maine Community College, and Wentworth Institute of Technology, he is married with four children. Black has extensive legislative experience in the Maine State Legislature, having served in the House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Maine Senate, first representing District 17 and currently District 5. He is consistently assigned to the Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry Committee. Black is campaigning for the Maine House of Representatives, District 74, in the 2026 Republican primary.
