Russell Joe has over twelve years of experience on the Issaquah City Council, serving from 2000-2007 and from 2021 to the present. He is a former municipal prosecutor and Pro Tem Judge for the Issaquah Municipal Court. His private sector work includes experience in government affairs and municipal relations, currently with Master Builders of King and Snohomish Counties. He has served on the boards of several non-profits, including The Garage, a Teen Café. He earned a J.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.A. from Northwestern University.
