Ryan Whitten is a U.S. Navy veteran who served for eight years as an Avionics Technician. He holds an Associate of Arts from Columbia Basin College. After his military service, he worked as an instrument technician at Hanford and currently works at Energy Northwest. He was appointed to the City Council in January 2023 and won the election for the remainder of the term in November 2023. He lives in central Richland with his wife.
