Ryika Hooshangi

Ryika Hooshangi is an attorney and the current Vice President of the Sammamish Plateau Water District Board of Commissioners. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Her career includes over 10 years as a U.S. government attorney and diplomat for the Department of State. She also served as a Brookings Fellow in the U.S. Senate, working as counsel and a foreign policy adviser. Hooshangi has also been an adjunct professor at the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and lives in Sammamish with her husband and two children.
