Sabina A. Helton

Sabina A. Helton is an incumbent judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Jerry Brown in 2018 and assumed office that year. Her current term is set to end on January 4, 2027. Before becoming a judge, her career included roles as a shareholder at Buchalter APC and Parker Milliken APC, a partner at McGuire Woods LLP, and senior counsel positions at several firms and for Mitsubishi Motors America. She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
