Samuel Lawrence Watson

Samuel Lawrence Watson is an incumbent Georgia State Senator, representing the 11th District, which includes Brooks, Colquitt, Cook, Decatur, Grady, Seminole, and Thomas counties. A farmer and agribusinessman, he began his Senate service in 2023. Senator Watson chairs the Senate Committee on Ethics and serves on the Appropriations, Economic Development and Tourism, and State and Local Government Operations Committees. He is also an Ex-Officio member of the Agriculture and Consumer Affairs and Natural Resources and the Environment Committees.
