Sarah Dixit is a candidate for Spokane City Council District 1, Position 2 in Spokane, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Sarah Dixit was born and raised in Southern California in an Indian immigrant household and moved to Spokane in 2014 to attend Whitworth University, where she earned a B.A. in Sociology. During college, she founded a campus chapter of Generation Action, a reproductive rights club. After graduating in 2018, she began her career at Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho, starting as a community organizer and eventually becoming the public affairs manager. In June 2023, she became the Organizing Director for Pro-Choice Washington. Dixit also serves as the Chair of the Equity Subcommittee for the Spokane City Council and is the board president of Asians for Collective Liberation.
