Savannah Winston

Savannah Winston is a Democratic candidate running for County Commissioner in Caroline County, Maryland. Raised in nearby Jonestown, Winston has a strong record of municipal leadership. She currently serves Preston, where she made history in 2023 as the first woman and person of color sworn in as Mayor, after joining the commission in 2020. Professionally, she is an accountant and the founder of VanTech Business Solutions. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a master's degree from Bowie State University, where she is currently pursuing a doctorate in education and executive leadership.
