Scott Baldermann was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Aurora, Colorado. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture from the University of Nebraska and has career experience as a software developer. Baldermann, who moved to Denver in 2002, previously served on the Denver Board of Education from 2019 to 2023. During his tenure, he advocated for curtailing school autonomy and supporting teachers. He is affiliated with his neighborhood association and the Denver Democratic Party, and is running for the Colorado House of Representatives believing government should work for people, not corporate interests.
