Scott Demarois is not currently running for office on Civoren.
Scott DeMarois, born and raised in Anaconda, Montana, retired as a Captain from the Anaconda Fire Department after a 29-year career. His public service experience honed his communication, listening, and team-working skills in stressful environments, which he brings to his role as a State Representative. Currently holding office for Montana House District 71, he assumed office in January 2025 and is running for re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary. DeMarois advocates for renewing Medicaid expansion and improving mental health services, particularly addressing issues at the Montana State Hospital. He also believes in increasing state funding for education to ensure quality and adequate resources for students, free from political influence.
