Scott Diener has been a resident of Port Orchard since 2005. His background is in city and county planning, with experience dating back to 1992. In 2017, he was the manager of Development Services and Engineering for the Kitsap County Department of Community Development. He was first appointed to the City Council on January 12, 2016. He currently serves as the chair of the Transportation Committee and is on the Land Use Committee and the Kitsap Public Health District board.
