Scott M. Hamilton

Scott M. Hamilton is a Republican candidate for Sheriff of Wicomico County, Maryland, in the 2026 election. With over two decades of law enforcement experience, he served for 21 years in the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, retiring with the rank of Corporal. Hamilton also has a distinguished 22-year military career, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 from the Maryland Army National Guard. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps Reserve, including a deployment to Iraq. Currently, he serves as the President of the Wicomico County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #111, advocating for law enforcement professionals and public safety.
