Sean E. Tarwater

Sean E. Tarwater Sr. is an incumbent Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 27. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1969, he is a small business owner, married with four children, and an alumnus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He first assumed office in January 2017. Tarwater is a fiscal conservative focused on job creation, aiming to protect KDOT funds, bring construction jobs back, and shield businesses from regulations.
