Seartch Delva is a Democratic candidate for Governor of Massachusetts. Born in Haiti, he moved to Massachusetts in 2009 at the age of eight and has called the state home for about 17 years. He earned a high school diploma from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, where he studied IT, and an associate's degree in Engineering from North Shore Community College (2026); he works as an electrical engineer. He describes himself as a progressive and campaigned on housing, a 'Massachusetts Work Projects Administration' infrastructure program, raising the minimum wage, taxing the wealthy, expanding healthcare, and public transit.
