Shane Bowman is a current Fire Commissioner for Clark County Fire District 3. He is also a local business owner of Western States Fire Equipment. Bowman has a history of public service, having served as the Mayor of Battle Ground from 2014 to 2015 and as Deputy Mayor. He was re-elected to the Battle Ground City Council for his fourth term in November 2023. He has received the Certificate of Municipal Leadership and the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership from the Association of Washington Cities (AWC). His community involvement includes serving as President of the Battle Ground Little League and being involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
