Shane Abbott

Shane G. Abbott is a pharmacist and small business owner serving as the incumbent for Florida House of Representatives District 5, having assumed office in 2022. He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Pensacola State College and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida. Abbott co-owns The Prescription Place in DeFuniak Springs. He has served as vice-chair of the Northwest Florida State College Board of Trustees and on the board of the Emerald Coast Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
