Shane Collins is a candidate for City of Chelan Council Member #7 in Chelan, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-partisan.

Shane Collins is a native of the Lake Chelan Valley and a fourth-generation orchardist. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Washington State University. Following his interest in agriculture, he studied viticulture and fermentation science at the Institute of Enology and Viticulture in Walla Walla. He has worked for several wineries, including Spring Valley Vineyard, Columbia Winery, and Covey Run. Collins returned to the Chelan area and served as the head winemaker at Tsillan Cellars for eight vintages. In 2017, he joined Rocky Pond Winery, and in June 2023, he was named the winemaker at Fielding Hills Winery. He has also been involved in community organizations, serving as a board member and past president of the Lake Chelan Wine Alliance and was elected to the board of directors of the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers. In January 2024, he was one of nine applicants for an open position on the Chelan City Council.
