Shawn Micah Tresher Still is an incumbent Republican State Senator representing Georgia's 48th district, a position he has held since 2023. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, he earned a communications degree from the University of Alabama. As a businessman, he is the sole owner of a swimming pool construction company in Gwinnett County, employing over 100 people, and also owns a rafting company in North Carolina. Still serves as the Republican Caucus Chair. He was notably indicted along with former President Trump and 17 others for alleged interference in the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. He is identified as a conservative candidate in the 2026 primary election.
