Her extensive government experience includes 16 years with the State of North Dakota and 25 years with the U.S. Department of the Interior, managing critical resources. Snortland is motivated by concerns over free school lunches, healthcare affordability, rural access to quality healthcare, small-town grocery store viability, and local control of data center construction impacts on water and utility costs. She is married with three adult children and five grandchildren, residing in Morton County.
