Silong Chhun

Silong Chhun is a Cambodian refugee who arrived in the United States in 1981 and grew up on Tacoma's Eastside. His career has focused on public service and communications. He currently works as a Digital Communications Specialist for the Washington State Attorney General's Office and previously served as the Digital Media Manager in former Washington Governor Jay Inslee's office. Chhun is the founder of Red Scarf Revolution, a platform that combines cultural celebration with arts advocacy, and has been active with the Khmer Advocacy & Advancement Group (KhAAG), supporting families facing deportation. He lives on the Eastside with his wife and two sons.
