Dr. Sion Roy is a physician, professor, and education advocate. He serves as a cardiologist at Harbor-UCLA public hospital and is an associate professor of Medicine. He was elected to the Santa Monica College Board of Trustees in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, currently serving as Vice Chair. Dr. Roy was the youngest-ever President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He earned his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. from the Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine, after a year of service in AmeriCorps. He lives in Malibu with his wife and son.
