Sophia Boesenberg

Sophia Boesenberg was born and raised in Okanogan County. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Portland, Oregon, in 2008. After her graduation, she worked in restaurants in Portland and Chicago before moving to Panama, where she operated her own restaurant for 10 years. In 2020, she returned to the Methow Valley with her husband and two sons, starting a catering business called Saskatoon Kitchens. She became the co-owner of Arrowleaf Bistro in 2022 and later the sole owner. The restaurant was renamed The Fainting Goat in 2024. In August 2024, she was appointed to the Winthrop Town Council to fill a vacancy for Position 1.
