Steban Steven Sainz

Steven Sainz is a Republican who has served as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives for District 180 since January 2019. Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, he graduated from Camden County High School and earned a B.A. in political science from Valdosta State University. Sainz's professional background includes serving as CEO of Camden Connection, a nonprofit, and previously as a deputy sheriff for the Camden County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently seeking re-election to represent District 180 in the Republican primary on May 19, 2026. He chairs the House Interstate Cooperation Committee and is a member of several others, including Appropriations and Public Safety.
