Stefanie LeJeunesse moved to Mount Vernon in 2012. She is a life skills instructor for Washington Vocational Services, where she helps young adults with developmental disabilities. She holds a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University. Her community involvement includes serving as a director of the Mount Vernon Farmers Market board, a Girl Scout Troop leader, and a volunteer for various local organizations, including Familias Unidas por la Justicia and Moms Demand Action. She also organized the first LGBTQIA+ Pride event in Mount Vernon.
