Stephanie Barnard

Stephanie Barnard, a lifelong Washingtonian and Pasco resident, is an incumbent State Representative for the 8th Legislative District, first elected in 2022. A small-business advocate and mother of six, she previously served as head of government affairs for the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce. Barnard is focused on strengthening Washington’s innovation economy across sectors like advanced computing, aerospace, and agriculture, and growing clean energy jobs. Her policy priorities include lowering taxes, enhancing public safety, developing a prepared workforce, and protecting the agricultural community and Snake River dams. She brings a practical, community-focused perspective to the State House, seeking re-election to continue her work for the constituents of Benton and Franklin counties.
