Stephanie Horn has been a resident of Pullman since 1992, when she moved to the city to attend Washington State University (WSU). She earned a degree in Child, Consumer, and Family Studies and Elementary Education. After staying home to raise her four children with her husband, Eric, she began teaching in the Pullman School District in 2011. She has taught at three of the four elementary schools in Pullman and was active in the PTA and Pullman Education Association leadership. In 2021, she left the school district and took a position with WSU's College of Education, where she works as a field supervisor and has taught future teachers. She also tutors children in the community.
