Stephanie Ruskay is the Associate Dean of The Rabbinical School and Executive Director of The Hendel Center for Ethics and Justice at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). She is a rabbi, community organizer, and a public school parent. Ruskay has held leadership positions at several Jewish social justice organizations, including American Jewish World Service, Auburn Theological Seminary, and AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps. She is a graduate of the joint program between JTS and Columbia University's School of General Studies. Part of her childhood was spent on the Upper West Side.
