Stephanie V. Overton Stanard

Dr. Stephanie V. Overton Stanard is an active and engaged figure within Prince George's County, Maryland, with a record of public service and leadership in education. She was appointed to serve on the 2021-2022 Prince George's County Charter Review Commission, a significant civic responsibility. In this role, she participated in the comprehensive review of the county's charter, the primary governing document, and helped formulate recommendations for potential changes to enhance the effectiveness and responsiveness of local government. Dr. Stanard also holds the prominent position of President of the Bowie State University National Alumni Association, where she leads efforts to connect graduates and support the advancement of the institution.
