Stephen Peter Pfahler has been a Judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County since his appointment by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006. He received both his B.S. in business in 1987 and his J.D. in 1990 from the University of Southern California. Before becoming a judge, he worked in private practice at several law firms, including Adams, Duque & Hazeltine; LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby & MacRae; and as a partner at Banna, Green, Frank & Terzian. His legal practice focused on areas such as civil litigation, municipal law, and constitutional law. He has also served as an assistant city attorney for Calabasas, South Pasadena, and Rolling Hills Estates. Additionally, Pfahler is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California, where he teaches Public Policy and Law.
