Steve Aste

Steve Aste is a Republican who campaigned for the Utah House of Representatives, District 41, in the 2026 election cycle. He was eliminated during the Republican convention on April 18, 2026. Aste's platform is built on the belief that government should prioritize community service over career building or personal gain. He advocates for protecting Utah's future by championing exceptional stewardship of natural resources, ensuring clean and plentiful water, keeping public lands accessible while preserving them, and promoting strong economic development to support good living wage opportunities and home ownership. He also calls for mandating financial literacy and U.S. Constitution courses in high schools.
