Steve Schwartz is a non-profit executive, organic farmer, and advocate running for the California State Assembly. He served in the Peace Corps in Thailand and was a Chief of Staff in the State Assembly. He founded California FarmLink to help farmers access land and capital, and the Interfaith Sustainable Food Collaborative. He also served as a school board president for the Gravenstein Union School District. He operates New Carpati Farm, an organic family farm located in Sebastopol.
