Sue Shink is a Democratic politician serving her first term in the Michigan State Senate representing the 14th District. Prior to being elected to the state senate, she served as Chair of the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners and as a Northfield Township Trustee. Shink earned a bachelor's degree in political science, a master's degree in resource policy, and a juris doctor from the University of Michigan. She lives on a small farm in Northfield Township with her husband.
